Northumberland Road
Tasked with transforming this large town garden, our objective was to create a simple yet elegant, formal layout that harmonised with the property’s architectural features. Given the steep gradient from the top of the garden to the house, we devised a two-tiered design to optimise space and aesthetics.
At the forefront of the client’s vision was a formal entertaining area adjacent to the house. Drawing inspiration from the symmetrical features of the property, we meticulously replicated these elements within the garden layout, centralising the garden’s lawn to the rear of the house to achieve a seamless, inviting transition from indoors to outdoors.
To enhance the garden’s visual appeal and provide natural screening, we strategically planted four Amelanchier Lamarckii trees along the perimeter. These trees not only obscure neighbouring properties but also create a striking natural archway, framing captivating views throughout the garden’s expanse.
