Tasked with rejuvenating a lifeless courtyard space, our challenge was to introduce vibrancy and natural allure into a compact urban garden.

Responding to the client’s desire for lush greenery and a connection with nature, our design infused the garden with abundant plant life, carefully curated to thrive within the confines of the courtyard. Drawing inspiration from the elegant curves and motifs of art-deco design, we incorporated organic shapes and patterns into the layout, enhancing the garden’s visual appeal.

We integrated sliding roof slats into the bespoke pergola, allowing for flexible shading options throughout the day. Custom screening also concealed the garage doors while adding to the architectural interest in the space.

A focal point of the design was a captivating water feature equipped with a rainwater harvesting system for irrigation, reflecting the client’s love for water elements. To optimise usability, we also redesigned the stairway to the basement lounge and strategically placed stepping stones to maximise planting areas, creating a harmonious balance between form and function.
